APPROACH

Why I created KC

Kauffman Coaching is a resource for athletes looking to take their training to the next level. So often high performance resources are limited to professional sports clubs and organizations, the goal of creating KC is to bridge that gap and provide athletes of all levels access to professional grade strength and conditioning resources. Whether it’s aerobic fitness, strength, power, speed, agility or all of the above I can help you to meet your goals and better your performance on the field.

I first started my journey as an athlete at 12 years old playing tennis all across Australia on the junior tour. I was lucky enough to have been part of the state academy program where I was first exposed to structured strength and conditioning. This set me up for the rest of my athletic career and I'm so lucky to have had that exposure! This also sparked an interest in the strength and conditioning industry so when I set off to the USA to compete as a student athlete I pursued a degree in Exercise Science. I continued my education at the University of Florida completing a Masters of Human Performance. While at UF I did a year and a half as a strength and conditioning intern for Olympic Sports and completed my degree with a 6 month prac placement as a sports performance intern at Wake Forest University with Women’s basketball.

I have now been working in the strength and conditioning industry for the last 5 years. Upon returning to Australia in 2021 I joined the team at Athletic Institute working with athletes of all ages. I also obtained the Head of High Performance role for the WAFLW program at West Perth Football Club, and have been with the program ever since. Having finished up my tennis career I was eager to continue in sport and quickly took up footy at Wembley Football Club. I was then drafted to the Fremantle Dockers in 2022 and am an active player on their AFLW list. 

I am passionate about providing athletes with the highest level of training resources I can no matter what level they're competing at. If you're training for a sport multiple times a week and competing, then you should be doing a structured gym program! Using my education and experience in high performance I have created a platform for everyone to have access to professional grade resources!

SERVICES

Choose from a variety of options

Programs designed to increase your rate of force development and speed. These programs have an emphasis on explosiveness including different jumps, hops, and compound lifts. Choose the beginner if you're new to power training, the advanced program is great for those experienced in the gym and have done some olympic lifts before. 

POWER

Programs designed to increase your maximal strength. These full body programs are focussed on building your base strength level and increasing your neural output, with an emphasis on key movement patterns. The beginner program is great for those just starting out, the advanced is great for those wanting an extra challenge and new exercises. 

STRENGTH

Whether you're just starting your running journey or looking to solidify your fitness, this building blocks program will get you to where you want. Designed with field sports in mind this 12 week program will take your fitness to a new level. There are 3 sessions per week gradually building in intensity from Fartlek to shuttles to high speed intervals. 

RUNNING

Maintain all the hard work you did over the pre season with this in season program. Includes 2 gym sessions per week and a guided post game recovery. Ideal for the football athlete competing at community or state level! 

IN SEASON

I do in person skills coaching at certain Perth locations that are designed to help advance your skills. These are great for young athletes looking to work on certain aspects of their game. Locations include Cockburn ARC, Hammond Park, and South Perth. Click below for more info or fill out an enquiry form!
